A Baby Quilt

I made this quilt for a baby shower Mom, Jordyn, and I are going to on Saturday. As you can probably guess, the baby is supposed to be a boy. The heart is my 'signature' that I put in every quilt that I do.

Oh Miranda! You post blog entries so many at a time it's hard to keep up with you!! I don't mind that much...but it seems like you're always posting. I like that though....that's a neat signature you do on your quilts. I'd have to ask though, do you quilt by machine or hand? If by machine, how do you do your "signature" - do you draw it out and stitch over it? It'd take forever by hand, by I might get lost on the machine. :-) Or do you have a special machine. This is a long comment...but as it is, no one else is commenting, so I guess it isn't that big of a deal! Love, Ruth Ann

Dearest Ruth Ann,

I machine quilt and all my quilting and my 'signature' is all free-handed. I have tried to use patterns but haven't had a great turnout. I do have a sewing machine that is a 'quilting' machine also. So that helps too. It is really easy to do and I love it!

Much love,
Miranda
